Regarding investors' acceptance of financing through crowdfunding, Beigzadeh stated: The custodian of financing through crowdfunding is OTC, and for this reason, a committee has been formed in this area and many platforms are involved in it; now, due to the significant profit paid, there has been a good reception from investors and companies applying to participate in financing in this sector.
He clarified: Financing in Iran is often in the form of profit sharing, meaning that SME, knowledge-based companies, etc. publish information about the profitability of a project or manufactured product, and investors make investments based on the information.
The CEO of the City Financial Group concluded by saying: The Securities and Exchange Organization can make a significant contribution to the issue of financing through crowdfunding by facilitating licensing of financing platforms, granting licenses to projects, and facilitating the participation of funds while observing risk management.
